Welcome!

The purpose of this blog, which I titled “A New Kind of Science Blog” for both obviously descriptive and humorous reasons, is to create a space for interesting posts on and ensuing discussion about NKS ideas, NKS talks, articles, conferences, and other news items. We will expose the open problems in NKS, and discuss solved problems as well as developments. We’ll explore the applications of NKS in fields as varied as physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, the social sciences, and the arts.
